How do you germinate Paulownia seeds?
Put a pinch of seed on top of the planting medium. Cover the seeds with a patch of cheese cloth or tobacco plant bed net to hold them in place. Water them enough to keep them moist but not saturated. As the seeds begin to grow, remove the cheese cloth and thin them until you only have one per container.

Germination takes 21-60 days approx. Transplant seedlings when large enough to handle to 8cm pots and grow on under glass for their 1st winter. acclimatise and plant out the following spring. Prefers any fertile, humus-rich soil in full sun.
