Johannesteijsmannia magnifica - Silver Joey - (25-30 cm) plant

Similar in most respects to Johannesteijsmannia altifrons but, if anything, even more spectacular. Johannesteijsmannia magnifica has large, simple, undivided leaves that can reach a length of more than 3 m (10 ft.) and a width of up to 2 m (7 ft.), rising directly from an underground rootstock. These huge, very leathery, roughly diamond-shaped leaves are strongly pleated along their length and have stunning, silvery white backs.
