Banyan Tree - Ficus benghalensis - 250 pieces seeds

A very large, spreading tree from southern Asia that can form several trunks through its aerial roots, making it very spreading. The large, shiny leaves have bright leaf veins; the fruits are small and red and are readily eaten by animals. This tree, sacred in India, is an unusual and very decorative ornamental plant for the tropics!

Soak seeds in water for 24 hours.
Create a mini glasshouse.
Lightly press the seeds into the seed raising mix.
Put lid on container to speed up germination, as it increases heat and conserves moisture.
Put mini glasshouse in indirect sun.
